DiMar Caspians

Dimar Caspians is quite new to the Caspian Horse breed but we are so excited by them. We brought the first three animals to Florida from Texas in the summer of 2003. Since then the farm has grown from 19 acres to 87 acres and from 6 total horses to over 20. we have had 5 beautiful purebred Caspian fillies born.

BIG NEWS!!!! Summer 2004 Darkhorse Siydeh, and Kristul's Triumph will arrive in the next week to breed our mares. Along with them will arrive Arman and Cyman, a pair of matched Bay Caspian geldings who will immediately begin training for riding and driving. They are absolutely beautiful!

BIG NEWS!!!!! January 2006 Genesis Cyman has been purchased by another Forida farm. His new family is very committed to carriage driving. Look for Cyman at future driving gatherings in Florida!!

UPPDATE!!!! Here we are all the way to 2010. Time flies. The number of Caspians we have gotten going in driving now excedes 8. Three of these driving Caspians have been sold and one of them regularly wins competitions in the single pony class around Florida.
Caspians have proven so drivable that Dick has been able to build all the way from driving single to driving a four-in-hand. Since this was done entirely with green horses it is unlikely we could have done this with any other breed.

We have gotten at least 5 Caspians and 2 Caspian X Quarter Horse crosses started under saddle. Bitsy has been the star in this program and has gone as far as being riding by an Olympic rider in the Christmas Gala program at Wellington Florida. She is a popular pony as she is fast and fearless. She has done Pony Club Games and other events.
